I wrote and designed advertising campaigns for 10 years for agencies McCann and DDB Needham. This included producing and directing TV commercials for Coca Cola, Sprite and Nescafe.
The experience taught me promotional techniques that are invaluable for promoting my books.
One memorable TV commercial I directed was the famous 45 second Bluebird Crisps animated skiing penguin TV advertisement.
I've put the 45' TV commercial here, plus screen shots and my original storyboard.
It was extremely successful, won many awards, and established the previously low performing Bluebird brand as #1 seller in less than a year.
